About Us

High Beech House on the Island of Skye is an ideal location for exploring the local landscape.

We are situated on the outskirts of Portree, the capital of the island.  A five minute walk will take you to the centre and pretty harbour.

The house overlooks Portree harbour and we have two beautiful en-suite double bedded rooms. Full Scottish Breakfast is included.

The Island is well known for its wild beauty, where Sea Eagles fly and Otters, Whales and Dolphins are regular visitors.

The old Gaelic language is still taught and there are many interesting local characters.

Jonathan and Pauline.

Jonathan is from Sheffield, Yorkshire and Pauline is from the Isle of Skye. Both love the wildlife of the island and have supported organisations such as the Whale and Dolphin Conservation society and Sea Shepherd.

Jonathan was a design engineer for 33 years and also indulges in songwriting.
